InvMon is a product by nCubate, a boutique software company based in Basel, Switzerland. InvMon was developed by me, Tom Studer (nCubate’s owner and sole employee at this time).

In this post I want to take the opportunity to give a short overview of the relevant milestones of my professional life that are related to finance, portfolio management and application development:
- Graduated in Computer Science in Switzerland and the US.
- First online broker account and trading in 1998.
- In 2001, software engineering consultant in a Swiss SAAS startup providing portfolio and risk management services.
- In 2005, software engineer at UBS working on its e-banking portal.
- In 2006, self funded development of an algorithmic, autonomous stock trading engine against the Interactive Brokers® API.
- Since 2009, founding partner at ClubDesk (in German).
- Since 2021, self-funded development of InvMon.
