How can I get one of the paid InvMon Plans?
Just download and run InvMon. In the application, go to the File menu and select “Manage License…”. Then click on the GET KEY button to navigate to the sales.invmon.com website where you can sign up to any of the paid InvMon plans. The first two weeks of use of any paid license is free. After that, we’ll use the credit card info provided by you during sign-up to charge the license fee and send you an InvMon license key that can be pasted into the application. We use Stripe for credit card processing.
Can I use InvMon for free?
Yes, you can download and use InvMon for free without a time limit. The free version includes almost all of InvMon’s features but has some limitations in terms of the number of items you can manage. The free version is perfectly adequate for an individual to track personal assets (up to 10 accounts or other balance items) and one broker account with up to 12 positions.
Can I keep using InvMon if I cancel my subscription?
Yes, provided you subscribed for and paid for at least one year. With your payment for a yearly subscription you immediately receive a perpetual InvMon license key that does not expire and allows you to keep using InvMon even after you’ve cancelled the subscription. This means you can sign up, pay the yearly fee, immediately cancel and keep using InvMon. If you choose the monthly payment option, you’ll receive a perpetual InvMon license key with your 12th monthly payment. Subscriptions include free InvMon feature upgrades until the end of the term you’ve paid for.
Is it safe to download InvMon?
Yes. The InvMon installer download files have been digitally signed using the official code signing process by Apple. The certificate has been issued to nCubate Software GmbH, the developer of InvMon. Your macOS will verify the authenticity of the installer file and certificate before execution and will issue a warning or not even allow installation if there’s something wrong. Just make sure that when installing on the Mac, your macOS will show an info box about running software downloaded from the Internet. There it must say “Apple checked it for malicious software and none was detected”.

What are the supported base currencies?
The list of currencies that are available to be set as InvMon’s base currency, or when adding a foreign currency account, are:

Does InvMon have access to quotes and charts, what are the delays?
Yes, InvMon comes with a built-in market data interface. You get access to over 160,000 stock and ETF tickers, 350+ Crypto conversion rates and 168 world currencies. End-of-day data for quotes and charts is available with all InvMon plans. With a paid plan, you get intra-day price charts with a delay as little as 5 minutes for all IEX listed US stocks.
If you have an Interactive Brokers® account and connect to it from InvMon, you get access to the same data and delays you have in your IB Trader Workstation (as subscribed for in your IB account settings). This includes up to real-time trade, bid and ask prices, which InvMon will display in real-time if available.
Why Interactive Brokers®? Do I need an IB account?
No, an IB account is not needed. The history of InvMon goes back almost 20 years. First pre-InvMon development started in the form of a trading application specifically built against IB’s Java API. The situation today is different. As it is now, InvMon stands on its own and comes with a built-in interface to market data from around the globe, so an IB account is not needed. However, if you do have an IB account, you can take advantage of InvMon’s capability to connect to your locally installed Trader Workstation (IB TWS) and automatically synchronize account values and portfolio positions, submit orders and react to trade executions.
Can I use InvMon for professional purposes (commercial use)?
InvMon is currently designed and licensed for private, non-commercial use by individual investors. While there is no technical limitation preventing professional or institutional use, such scenarios may require adjustments to licensing, support, and data provisioning.
